Finally getting somewhere

So my assignment is coming together at last. It currently lacks a conclusion, while already being over the permitted word count, but with a bit more editing I think I can get it into shape. Once I have submitted it, I can turn to the module on ‘Wuthering Heights’, which at this point is looking fairly attractive simply by virtue of the fact that I haven’t been wrestling with it for what feels like weeks.

I have completed a pair of socks:

The cable down the middle was fiddly and hard on the hands and wrists

These are going to be submitted for the monthly challenge in the Sock Knitters Anonymous Group on Ravelry. Rachel Coopey was the December/January featured designer (and also a favourite of mine), so I chose this pattern I hadn’t knitted before. I think it looks great, but my arm muscles are glad they are done.

While I rest my arms I need to get on with this month’s book club book. I chose it, and have offered to lead the Zoom discussion. It is in six days’ time, so I mustn’t put it off any longer…
